Charlotte North Carolina has a new bike shop in town...Carolina Bicycle Company! The best and most awesome bike shop around! The owner of CBC is Gene DiMenna. Gene has two bike shops; one in Huntersville (exit 23 off of I-77) and Pineville (off of I-485 near Carolina Place Mall).
CBC also has a new women's mountain bike race team! CBC's Selan Cybele' Team members are: Anna Cain, Connie Giordano, Collen Hurd, LeAnn McCann and Sue Kingrey. Team members are dedicated to broadening the skills and interests of women in the sport of mountain biking. The team will hold Wednesday (6pm) and Sunday (1pm) rides every month at designated local trails. Check out Gene's "Cog Blog" site to view calendar and more!
We are excited to get our "butts" off the couch and get it "riding"! Our first group ride for the year is Sunday, January 11th at 1pm at Fisher Farm Park in Davidson, NC. All women of any riding level are invited to ride with the CBC's Selan Cybele'!!! We'll see you on the trail!
